■ Last day to register for the Certification exam: 31st March , 2025

■ Last day to take the Certification exam: 1st May, 2025.

But AI is an ever evolving entity and so Salesforce decided to align its certification with its Next-Generation AI strategies. In essence, the step is a strategic shift forward. By retiring AI Associate Certification, Salesforce is making room for more modern, practical and powerful AI Credentials that will be more useful to professionals and easier for non professionals. There are several reasons as to why Salesforce decided to retire AI Associate Certification. Some of them include:

If you already have a Salesforce AI Associate certification, it will be marked as “Retired” on your Trailblazer profile after 2nd February, 2026. Salesforce has introduced new programs in lieu of the AI Associate certification.

Agentblazer Status Program:

Agentblazer Status is a leveled system that helps with an individual's AI proficiency. As you progress through the program, you win points and badges that will be displayed on your Trailblazer Profile. There are three levels in this program:

          1. Champion

          2. Innovator

          3. Legend

Agentforce Specialist Certification:

This certification specializes in building role-based AI Skills. It was previously known as AI Specialist.
